Built from 100% #304 stainless steel with minimal exterior fasteners for easy cleaning, these hoods are tested at Texas A&M’s Energy Systems Lab to ensure lasting durability in harsh outdoor conditions. With powerful internal motors pushing up to 2,300 CFM, these hoods handle high-heat grills, smokers, and searing burners with ease while maintaining a quiet, comfortable cooking environment.

An oversized 32″ deep capture area, 24″ height, and double baffle filter banks maximize smoke and grease capture, while recessed, dimmable LED lighting keeps your grill area brightly lit without glare. Each hood is finished on three sides with an open back for seamless wall installation and features a convertible discharge system that ships ready for top discharge but easily converts on-site to rear discharge with a movable panel for flexible installs.

Note: Internal blower models include integrated blowers, while in-line/remote blower models are sold without blowers, allowing you to pair with your preferred external system.

Installation & Care

Installation:
Trade-Wind Outdoor Ventilation Hoods are designed for flexible on-site installation. All hoods with a 24" body depth easily convert from vertical discharge to horizontal discharge, making them adaptable to various layouts and ducting scenarios. A telescoping duct cover (2-piece) is available to accommodate ceiling heights up to 10 feet. The hoods come pre-equipped with sealed internal blowers and pre-installed wiring for quick connection by a licensed installer.

Minimum hood mounting height: 36" above cooking surface

Recommended duct size: 10" round (minimum) for 1200 CFM; 12" round for 2300 CFM

Optional in-line blowers: 1266 CFM, sold separately

Care & Maintenance:
To keep your Trade-Wind hood performing at its best:

Clean stainless steel exterior regularly with mild soap and water (no abrasives)

Remove and hand-wash baffle filters every 30–60 days

Check lights and wiring annually during seasonal prep
